North Naples Builders Club Special Presentation
Northside Naples Kiwanis Club had the special honor of being visited
by three of the members of the North Naples Builders Club, Megan,
Chelsea and Lisa, to relay a State of the Club Address. The Club advisor,
Nef Espinosa, was proud to have them and touted their great accomplishments
so early in the year. The three students took turns
relaying the excellent deeds and highlights of the club. To begin, they
hosted a Fall Dance, complete with costume contest. This event was
very well attended and raised over $1,000 for the club. With these
funds, the club was able to fill the Christmas wish lists of the residents
of the Imperial Health Care Retirement Home. They wrapped each gift
and presented them to the residents during a holiday party at the facility.
Another great accomplishment was the support of a local Eagle Scout
project. Jeff Dewitt decided upon a project to help the residents of the
Immokalee Friendship House by building locker cabinets. The club provided
financial support for this endeavor. The club also held a food and
clothing drive for the homeless and supported the United Way. This
would be an impressive list for a whole year, but they are not done yet.
Upcoming projects include a Haitian Relief Drive, a food drive for the
animals at the Humane Society and Treats for Teachers on Valentine’s
Day. They also relayed a special thank you for the support from NSN.
